What AUGMECLAV 1000 is and what it is used for
AUGMECLAV 1000 contains Amoxicillin as the active ingredient which refers to the group of antibiotics called penicillins and Clavulanic Acid – beta-lactamase inhibitor.

Augmeclav 1000 can be used in children and adults for the treatment of the following infections:
 acute bacterial sinusitis (confirmed);
 acute otitis media;
 acute exacerbation of chronic bronchitis (confirmed);
 community-acquired pneumonia;
 cystitis;
 pyelonephritis;
 infections of skin and soft tissues, particularly infectious inflammation of skin and subdermal tissues, infected animal bite wounds, severe periodontal abscess with expanding inflammation of adjacent tissues;
 infections of bones and joints.
