What Almoks A is and what it is used for The pharmaceutical product Almoks А refers to the group of antacids and contains Aluminum Oxide and Magnesium Oxide as active agents used to neutralize free hydrochloric acid which reduces the quantity of acid in the stomach and Benzocaine which causes local anaesthetic effect in the presence of acute pain syndrome; this effect develops within 1-2 minutes after oral administration of Almoks A. Almoks A is prescribed for antacid treatment (focused on reduction of gastric acidity) of heartburn and gastroesophageal reflux (flow of gastric material back into the tube) followed by acute pain syndrome in patients after 18 years old.
