What AUGMECLAV is and what it is used for
AUGMECLAV contains Amoxicillin as the active ingredient which refers to the group of antibiotics called penicillins and Clavulanic Acid – beta-lactamase inhibitor.

Augmeclav can be used in children and adults for the treatment of the following infections:
 acute bacterial sinusitis (confirmed);
 acute otitis media;
 acute exacerbation of chronic bronchitis (confirmed);
 community-acquired pneumonia;
 cystitis;
 pyelonephritis;
 infections of skin and soft tissues including infectious inflammation of skin and subdermal tissues, infected animal bite wounds, severe periodontal abscess with expanding inflammation of adjacent tissues;
 infections of bones and joints including osteomyelitis.
Medicinal product AUGMECLAV in the form of suspension in a dose of (400 mg+57 mg)/
5 ml and (200 mg +28,5 mg)/5 ml is primarily intended for use in children with body weight of less than 40 kg.
