What Amlodipine PhT is and what it is used for
Amlodipine PhT contains Amlodipine as the active ingredient which refers to the group called calcium antagonists.

Amlodipine PhT is prescribed for:
— treatment of arterial hypertension (high blood pressure);
— treatment of chronic stable angina;
— treatment of vasospastic angina (Prinzmetal angina).
Amlodipine causes relaxation of blood vessels in patients with high blood pressure allowing the blood to flow more easily. Patients with stable angina are treated with Amlodipine to improve the blood supply to the heart muscle and increase the receipt of oxygen by it, thus preventing pain chest pain (angina). This pharmaceutical product is not intended for immediate relief of the angina pain.
