The pharmaceutical product Amoxicillin PhT contains Amoxicillin Trihydrate as the active ingredient. Amoxicillin is a broad-spectrum semisynthetic penicillin (beta-lactam antibiotic), it causes antibacterial effect.

Amoxicillin PhT can be used in children and adults for the treatment of the following infections:
— acute bacterial sinusitis;
— acute otitis media;
— acute streptococcal tonsillitis and pharyngitis;
— acute exacerbation of chronic bronchitis;
— community-acquired pneumonia;
— acute cystitis;
— asymptomatic bacteriuria in pregnancy;
— acute pyelonephritis;
— typhoid fever;
— lateral abscess with spreading inflammation of adjacent tissues;
— infections of prosthetic joints;
— eradication of Helicobacter pylori;
— Lyme disease.
Amoxicillin PhT can be used to prevent endocarditis.
